What To Expect During An Online Hypnotherapy Session With Me
I’m asked pretty often in my DM’s what an online hypnotherapy session is like with me. So I wrote this post to serve as a resource!
I want the very best hypnotherapy session for every client, so I try to provide as many resources as possible. Stay tuned for my list of resources I’ve gathered (and created) below!
But before we continue, let me re-introduce myself.
Before Your Online Hypnotherapy Session
Before your online hypnotherapy session, I ask that you create a quiet space to have your session. (More tips are in my blog post here).
I’ll also ask you to meditate before we hop on our call together. I meditate before your session too. This helps both of us get into alignment for a successful session. You can snag a copy of my free walking meditation at the bottom of this post!
We start your session by discussing your intentions, where you’re feeling stuck, or what you might be feeling anxious about. This part usually takes about 30 minutes.
During this intro time, you can ask me any last-minute questions you may have, and then we’ll dive in. I want to make sure you feel 100% comfortable with me guiding you into a beautiful hypnotherapy session.
One of the great things about my hypnotherapy sessions is that I don’t guide you down a specific path. We let the subconscious mind choose what it wants to do!
Because I have the tools for multiple types of hypnosis, most sessions will be a mix of everything! (I have a beautiful post that explains the different hypnotherapy types I can facilitate here.)
If you’re not super-spiritual, you may have a tough time getting into the LBL (Life Between Lives) level. So it’s hard to guarantee where we will go. But keep in mind that your subconscious is doing what it feels best and safest doing.
Wherever your subconscious goes, we’ll experiment, play, and help you get clarity!
After Your Online Hypnotherapy Session
After your session, you’ll receive notes from me about what transpired during your online hypnotherapy session. You’ll also receive a voice recording of the actual session.
I require clients to listen to the recording at least once. This helps you understand what happened a bit more and integrate it into your life. The recording is always available to go back and listen to as many times as needed. I always say, “Listen until you feel better.”
Listening to your hypnotherapy recording may feel uncomfortable at first, but that’s normal.
Keep going back to it, as you can, until you feel you’ve released the negative belief or pattern.
I also send a prescription recording in addition to the session recording. This second recording is specific to the client’s needs.
The last and final thing I recommend is to journal, journal, journal.
It’s important to journal immediately after your hypnotherapy session. The mind will be calm and open to suggestions.
Every time you listen to the recording, journal again. You’ll see how your thoughts change and evolve.
It’s wild to know how much expansion can happen through hypnotherapy. Journaling is one tangible way to see it in real time!
